On Tuesday we had 53 year 7-12 Students participate in the District Interschool Swimming Carnival at the Terang pool.
There were 134 events raced throughout the day.
Terang had a student compete in almost every event, with many ribbons and PB’s on the day.
Congratulations to the following 3 Terang students who were awarded age champions on the day:
13 year boys- Darcy Abbott
15 year girls- Ingrid Cavarsan
17 year girls- Tori Parsons
Terang College finished 3rd overall and won the Handicap Shield.
13 students have now qualified to compete at Regionals in Horsham on 22nd March, they are:
Darcy Abbott, Annalise Abbott, Chloe Anderson, Kara Gee, Jessica Beasley, Ingrid Cavarsan, Adam Moloney, Cayty Sharp, Tori Parsons, Tom Cavarsan, Leo-Paul Breen, Dylan Hoare and James Hookway.
We also have 11 year 5 & 6 students who will participate at the combined division swimming championships on Friday 15th March in Warrnambool. To qualify for this event students have met the strict qualifying times that are set by SSV. These students are:
Sema Meric, Shelby Teal, Felicity Wood, Emma Hill, Cooper Logan, Oliver Guthrie, Su-Ri Kim, Jessica Bell, Ben Carlin, Edward Delaney and Luke Moloney. Congratulations and good luck.
